Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to read this site, search for a home and reach us — including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or a small phone. This page says what we do about that and how to tell us when something does not work.

Our goal

Sapphire Realty aims for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We build toward that standard and test against it, but we do not claim that every page passes every criterion. Accessibility is ongoing work, and we would rather know about a problem than pretend there are none.

What we do

  • Every page has a “Skip to content” link, one main heading and a logical heading order, so it can be navigated by landmark and heading.
  • Text is real text, sized in relative units, with colour contrast checked against the AA threshold; the site works when zoomed to 200%.
  • Links say where they go; buttons and form fields have visible labels, and required fields are marked in the label rather than by colour alone.
  • Everything that can be clicked can also be reached and operated with a keyboard, with a visible focus state.
  • Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative icons are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Expanding question-and-answer sections use native controls that screen readers announce.
  • We test new pages at widths from large desktop down to a 390-pixel phone before they go live.

Known limits

  • The property search is a tool provided by the California Regional Multiple Listing Service (CRMLS) and displayed in a frame. We do not control its interface. If it does not work for you, contact us and we will search on your behalf and send you listing details in the format you prefer.
  • Documents linked from other organisations (city and county pages, PDFs) are outside our control.
